Member of Channel 4 Specialist Factual team joins Wavelength Films.

Beth Beamer has joined Wavelength Films. Beth formerly reported direct to Hamish Mykura helping bring award winning films like 9/11: The Falling Man and Nuremberg: Goering’s Last Stand to the screen. Beth has also worked with Jan Younghusband on such break out hits as Operatunity and Musicality which won Prix Italia and RTS awards and with Charles Furneaux on the Bafta award-winning documentary Touching the Void. Beth is a real boost to the Wavelength Film team. Beth comments ‘moving from a broadcaster to an Indie gives me a chance to see the world of telly from a different angle. The challenge now is more hands on – getting that programme that works on paper to work in the real world. We have some great ideas in development and I’m relishing the challenge of taking some of them back to Channel 4.’
